Moov Togo launches ’Sports Connect’ on Kirusa platforms

Kirusa, the leader in voice messaging and social media mobile apps in emerging markets, announced today the launch of its popular service, Sports Connect, on the Moov Togo mobile network. With this service, Moov Togo subscribers can now receive on their mobile phones, exclusive sports voice bytes to satiate their soccer passion.

The service, which can be accessed on smartphones and feature phones, enables Moov Togo’s subscribers to receive daily updates such as team news, pre and post-match analysis, and quotes of team managers as well as players. With updates about clubs like Manchester United, Barcelona FC, Arsenal, and Chelsea, as well as national teams such as the Ghanaian Black Stars and Nigerian Super Eagles, available on Sports Connect, subscribers can receive their soccer bulletins in English and French languages.

To subscribe to the service, users only need to send an SMS to short code 9911. Afterwards, users will receive a notification on their mobile phones and can then start listening to soccer voice bytes.

Moov Togo always seeks ways to better our subscribers’ user experience and this new way of connecting them with their favorite soccer clubs and stars using live voice updates is welcomed”.

Sports Connect service from Kirusa, offered in partnership with Goal.com, currently connects 1.7 million fans, in eight countries, to twelve soccer clubs and national teams.
